Cattle Call Trophy Winners!
We are proud winners of the Cattle Call Sweetstakes Trophy for 2021. Out of 100 entires BSF took 1st place at the 2021 Cattle Parade, the biggest event in Imperial County. We have now won 3 years in a row and look forward to the 2022 Cattle Call Parade in hopes for another "W"!
Imperial Valley Community Foundation Non Profit Philanthropy Award 2021
BSF was awarded the 2021 Philanthropist Non Profit award with the Imperial County Community Foundation. We are beyond proud of such a great recognition. Serving is a passion and we look forward in providing our inclusive activities for years to come.
Brawley Chambers of Commerce for a Greater Brawley Non Profit of the Year 2022
Best S.T.E.P. Forward was the first recipient of the Non Profit of the Year award at the Brawley Chambers of Commerce for a Greater Brawley Branding Iron Gala. It was such an honor to be recognized for our efforts in Imperial County as advocates for Inclusion.
Las Primeras 2022 MANA de Imperial Valley Award
Our CEO Jacqueline Riddell has been awarded the Las Primeras award. One of 3 Latina Women in Imperial County awarded for creating positive change in Imperial County in Leadership positions. Jacqueline is an advocate for the special needs community of Imperial County, the underserved north end and Coaches competitive and special needs sports for the community. She serves in many advisory committees: Bill Young Middle School Parent School Site Council, Fremont Primary Parent School Site Council, Vice Chair with State Council of Developmental Disabilities, Calipatria Unified School District Special Educations Advisory Committee, SELPA Advisory Committee and created the first BYMS PTO. Mentoring and being the voice for the most valuable treasures, our youth, is her passion.
BSF has been awarded the 2023 CAL Nonprofits District 36th of the year!
